About Us
In 1982 I bought a small shop in Gillingham, Kent, where I sold second-hand furniture, e.g. Beds, Sofas. Over the last 25-30 years, with the help of my staff we laid good foundations on which to build a reliable, trustworthy removal firm.
We then took the reins and created Riley’s Removals. I also started small, but with solid roots, a strong will and a lot of hard work we expanded both the shop and the removal firm beyond all expectations, broadening horizons to a successful European firm within a few years. We now have a truly well-established business, introducing myself to it from a young age and incorporating my mum and sisters over the years in packing, shop work and customer service. This has helped give us a reputation for going the extra mile, along with the fact that we have a very hardworking and loyal workforce, some of which have been with us for over 10 years – an achievement for any removal firm!
We pride ourselves on giving each individual job (regardless of size) a personal service that is second to none, and in achieving complete customer satisfaction. After all, it’s our reputation – our name – at stake, so we do all we can to maintain our high standards and also meet those of the customer. It’s for this reason that a majority of our work is due to recommendations – a fact that we are extremely proud of.
The reigns have since been handed to me, and I have continued to keep customer satisfaction paramount. I am committed to upholding the company’s core values whilst allowing the business to prosper further.
